Apr 13

On April 19, McDonald’s is set to hire 50,000 new employees during their National Hiring Day initiative throughout the country. McDonald’s is opening their doors to interested candidates at the restaurant management and staff levels to share their comprehensive opportunities, including world-class training, life-long business and management skills and competitive wages and benefits. In Central Texas alone, they are looking to fill 400 positions throughout their restaurants.

These new jobs will benefit your community greatly. Many people don’t know how integral of a part McDonald’s plays in the Texas economy, yet the numbers speak for themselves. In 2010, McDonald’s restaurants collectively spent more than $1.2 billion in Texas’s communities, or more than $3.3 million per day and returned nearly 45 cents of every dollar they earned to their local economies. Overall McDonald’s spent nearly 48 dollars per Texas resident.

Thank you for your attention. We just wanted to share this information with you and let you know that Central Texas McDonald’s restaurants will be participating in National Hiring Day on April 19.
